Compared to last Wednesday the feeder market was uneven but stronger in spots with an average quality offering. Feeder steers 400-500 lbs appeared lower with a lite test, while the 500-700 lbs steers were sharply higher with a limited supply and good demand. Feeder heifers were mostly steady across the weight classes except for the 450-550 lbs heifers who were sharply higher with good demand for weaned and guaranteed open heifers. Slaughter cows were steady to 2.00 higher and slaughter bulls were 2.00 to 3.00 higher with a moderate supply and good demand.
