Compared to last Monday the feeder market was mixed with an average quality offering. Feeder steers 400-700 lbs were unevenly steady bouncing from 5.00 lower to 5.00 higher across the weight classes with a good supply and spotty demand. Feeder heifers 300 lbs and under appeared higher with a lite test, while the 350-500 lbs heifers were mostly steady and the 500-600 lbs heifers were sharply higher with a good supply and good demand for quality cattle. Large discounts were was seen and noted on plainer quality, off colored, or heavy conditioned calves. Slaughter cows and bulls were 2.00 to 4.00 lower with a good supply and moderate demand.
