How the calculators get their prices

The calf and cull cow calculators use the latest weekly auction summary USDA Market News published for the state you pick, by weight class and grade, and say which week that was. The hay calculator starts from Cornell Small Farms' intake figure and feeder waste measured in a Michigan State study, and every number in it can be changed. The pasture rent calculator starts from the USDA NASS county average.
