Compared to last week, with mixed offerings of weaned and unweaned calves, feeder cattle carrying additional condition saw stronger demand. Feeder cattle futures closed on a strong note, lending additional support to overall demand. Feeder steers and bulls sold $15.00 higher, while feeder heifers sold $10.00 higher. Slaughter cattle were lightly tested, with slaughter bulls selling $10.00 higher and slaughter cows selling steady to $5.00 lower.
